René Gruau Genious -

I am in love with the work of  illustrator, René Gruau, he too took the fashion world by storm with his elegant, bright sensual technique, his slight sense of humor and his love of glamor. Of course we've all seen some of his more famous work, in the form of the Dior campaigns, but I believe it is not the genius layout and intricate sense of beauty that make his work so popular, but rather the minimalist lines and underlying romantic ambiance. The Dior adds are not selling a single product or life style, but rather a way of perceiving yourself and the rest of the world.

Je suis amoureuse du travail de l’illustrateur, René Gruau. Plutôt connu pour son travail avec Dior, Guau a changé le monde de la mode, ou plutôt la perception qu'on en avait. Son talent est énorme et sa technique subtile et pleine langoureuse l'ont propulsé dans le monde de la mode. Gruau ne vendait pas des produit, ou même un style de vie, Gruau vendait une maniere de se percevoir, et de percevoir le reste du monde. Il vendais un état d'esprit, le sens même de "glamour".
